We’ve envisioned this project for a while now. Wouldn’t if be great if you could open the refrigerator and make a delicious meal with just the ingredients there, even if you didn’t know how to cook? The problem with the vast majority of recipes is that they’re too complicated. For example, right now in my refrigerator I have several different vegetables, some meat, and potatoes. I want to know, what can I make with these? Naturally, I surf the Internet or look through cookbooks for recipes. And unfortunately, the only recipes I can find require exotic ingredients that are difficult or impossible to find in most stores. Or they have so many ingredients, I still have to buy some things to make them, and I’ll end up with leftover items I’ll soon be looking for a use for. Yes, there are some services that allow you to find simple recipes for selected ingredients. However, we tried these and were not satisfied with their practicality or usefulness. So, we decided to design our own service, one that we would actually use, to make looking for recipes as easy and fun as possible. And now you can use it, too!
While searching for recipes that use ingredients from your fridge, you can also get complete information about the nutritional value of all the selected ingredients, along with the percentage of your daily nutrient requirement these items contain. This is the second goal of our project: to show you a complete, detailed picture of what you eat and help you make more informed decisions. For example, if you are eating the same foods every day, you may be suffering from nutrient deficiencies and not even know it. Using our services, individually customized for you, you can easily track how many calories, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids you consume daily, or over a certain period of time. This will help you manage your health better.
And don’t forget about exercise. Our training diary allows you to accurately monitor how many calories you burned during exercise like jogging, but also during any physical activity such as walking your dog, carrying groceries home from the store, etc. We also have tips to help you exercise more efficiently and get the best possible workout for your fitness needs.
